Terms and Conditions
QuiteLike is a different kind of meal kit subscription service.
Like other meal kit subscription services, you can choose to be sent meal kits on an ongoing weekly basis. However, QuiteLike also offers you the opportunity to add certain products to a meal kit order. This gives you the flexibility to enjoy the convenience of our meal kits alongside adding some additional products that you need in your home.
If you choose to subscribe:
- you will be sent meal kits on an ongoing weekly basis; and
- you can add certain products (listed on our website) to an order you place that contains a meal kit.
For your first meal kit subscription order, you will select meals from a range of options. For subsequent meal kit subscription orders, we will pre-select meals for you based on the settings you create in your online account. You don’t have to choose these pre-selected meals; you’re free to choose any others that are available.
Also, you can choose to pause, cancel or skip one or more weeks (see clause 3 for info about how much notice you need to give us). When you choose to have a meal kit sent to you, you can also top up that order with certain products that we make available to our meal kit customers.
By subscribing to QuiteLike, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
The following terms have the following meanings:
- Business Day means a day other than a Saturday or Sunday on which commercial banks are open for business in Melbourne, Victoria;
- Content means all copyright, data, text, software, images, graphics, trademarks, logos, interfaces, photographs, and other intellectual property on the Website;
- Delivery Address is the address where the Goods are to be delivered as stated on the Order;
- Delivery Days means the days QuiteLike permits you to schedule a delivery of an Order. Depending on your Delivery Address, these are currently Saturday, Sunday and Monday;
- Goods are items in an Order, and include packaging;
- Intellectual Property Rights includes copyright, trademarks, patents, designs and protection of confidential information;
- Loss means any loss including any liability, cost, expense, claim, proceeding, action, demand or damage;
- Order is an order by you to purchase Subscription Products and (if any) Top Up Products;
- Order Cut-Off Time means, in respect of a Delivery Day, 11:59 PM AEST or AEDT (as applicable), on the Sunday immediately preceding that Delivery Day provided that the minimum number of days between the Order Cut-Off Time and the Delivery Date is at least 6 days. For some examples of how this works in practice, please see clause 4;
- Privacy Policy means QuiteLike’s privacy policy which can be viewed by clicking this link;
- QuiteLike means BetaElementCo Pty Ltd (ABN 43 137 917 492) trading as QuiteLike;
- QuiteLike Account means an account created by signing up to the Website;
- Related Bodies Corporate has the meaning given in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth);
- Subscription Products means meal kits available on the Website;
- Support Hub means the support hub for your QuiteLike Account which can be accessed on the Website;
- Terms and Conditions means these terms and conditions;
- Top Up Products means products available on the Website that are not Subscription Products; and
- Website means quitelike.com.
2. SIGN-UP PROCESS
- To have a QuiteLike Account, you will need to complete the sign-up process (which includes setting a password). Click here for a link to the sign-up page.
- As part of the sign-up process, you will need to specify where you would like your Orders to be delivered. If your Delivery Address is not in the QuiteLike delivery area, you will not be able to make Orders to that Delivery Address. We will let you know if your Delivery Address ceases to be in an area where QuiteLike delivers Goods.
- When you sign up, information you provide (including in relation to any payment information) must be accurate and complete.
- If any of the information included by you in the sign-up process is incorrect or becomes incorrect at a later date, you must update this information promptly by logging into your QuiteLike Account.
- QuiteLike is not responsible for any damage or Loss due to incorrect information provided by you, and we are not liable for any charges you incur as a result of incorrect payment information. If we incur an expense due to incorrect payment information provided by you, we reserve the right to seek reimbursement from you for such expense.
- To complete the sign-up process, you must place your first Order.
3. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES
- When you place an Order, you enter into an agreement to receive the Goods:
a. in relation to Subscription Products that form part of that Order on an ongoing basis; and
b. in relation to any Top Up Products that form part of that Order on a one-off basis. - To add Top Up Products to an Order:
a. that Order will need to contain Subscription Products; and
b. you will need to log-in to your QuiteLike Account and specify what Top Up Products you want to be included in that Order. - Top Up Products will only accompany the delivery of any Subscription Products placed in an Order and only in the delivery of Orders that you specify should contain Top Up Products. Therefore, if you cancel or skip that Order, the Top Up Products in that Order will be cancelled.
- By subscribing to QuiteLike, you are agreeing to receive:
a. Subscription Products on a recurring basis for an indefinite period until cancelled; and
b. Top Up Products in Orders that contain Subscription Products in the Orders specified by you. - You can cancel, pause and otherwise amend your subscription at any time by one of the methods outlined on the Website. Your request to cancel, pause or amend your subscription shall take effect:
a. (if you do not have any Orders that have yet to be delivered) promptly following the first Business Day that we receive your request; or
b. (if you do have one or more Orders that have yet to be delivered (each, an Unfulfilled Order) and the Order Cut-Off Times for one or more of those Unfulfilled Orders’ Delivery Days have passed) on the Business Day immediately following the last Delivery Day on which the final Unfulfilled Order is delivered. - Please see the Support Hub for more information about cancelling and pausing your account.
- If you cancel your subscription, you can subscribe again at any time. If you subscribe again, this will be as part of your previous (cancelled) subscription.
- You can delete your QuiteLike Account by sending an email to our customer care team (support@quitelike.com) to request the deletion. If you delete your QuiteLike Account, you can sign up for a new QuiteLike Account (using a different email address than the one used for your cancelled QuiteLike Account), but we reserve the right not to permit you to open a new QuiteLike Account. If you open a new QuiteLike Account, this will be as part of a new QuiteLike Account and not as a continuation of your previous (deleted) QuiteLike Account. Any Unfulfilled Orders at the time you request deletion of your QuiteLike Account will be cancelled and, if already paid for, promptly refunded.
- We reserve the right to cancel your subscription or delete your QuiteLike Account at our reasonable discretion at any time including, for example, where we suspect that error, fraud or abuse of any of our promotions is occurring. We will give you such notice as we determine relating to the cancellation of your subscription or deletion of your QuiteLike Account. Any Unfulfilled Orders at the time we cancel your subscription or delete your QuiteLike Account, will be cancelled and, if already paid for, promptly refunded.
4. DELIVERY OF ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS
- Orders are delivered on Delivery Days. These Delivery Days are selected by you through your QuiteLike Account but the Order to be delivered on a Delivery Day must be placed before the Order Cut-Off Time for that Delivery Day.
- We process each Order at the Order Cut-Off Time for that Order. After the Order Cut-Off Time for an Order, no changes can be made to that Order.
- If your Delivery Day is:
a. Saturday, the Order Cut-Off Time for the Order to be delivered on that Delivery Day is the Sunday immediately before that Saturday;
b. Sunday, the Order Cut-Off Time for the Order to be delivered on that Delivery Day is the Sunday immediately before that Sunday; and
c. Monday, the Order Cut-Off Time for the Order to be delivered on that Delivery Day is the Sunday occurring 8 days before that Monday. On this, please see clause 4(4) for further details. - As QuiteLike is a subscription service, if your Delivery Day is Monday, then the Order Cut-Off Time for the Order to be delivered on that Delivery Day will be the Sunday occurring 8 days before that Monday. If you have weekly deliveries on Mondays, you may see that we have processed two Orders before you have received either of those Orders. This is because, in respect of the first Order to be delivered, the Order Cut-Off Time for that Order (i.e the day that first Order is processed) occurs 8 days before that first Order is delivered and, in respect of the second Order to be delivered, the Order Cut-Off Time for that Order (i.e. the day that second Order is process) occurs 8 days before that second Order is delivered (which will be the day before you have received the first Order).

- You agree to continually indemnify and hold harmless QuiteLike (including its officers, employees, contractors and agents) from any Loss suffered or incurred through the delivery of the Goods, except for any Loss suffered or incurred as a result of our negligence, fraud or wrongful act or omission.
- Deliveries are designed to be as convenient as possible. As such, our deliveries are contactless and usually made overnight. Because of this, the Delivery Address you specify must be an address that a delivery service can reach acting reasonably (e.g. a front door if that front door can, or reception of an apartment building if that reception can, be accessed from the street without a key or passcode). If the delivery service, acting reasonably, cannot make a delivery to the Delivery Address because the delivery service cannot access that Delivery Address (e.g. without a key or passcode), you will not be entitled to a refund for the Order that was attempted to be delivered.
- QuiteLike may, in its sole discretion, acting reasonably decide not to deliver Goods at the Delivery Address where it reasonably believes that the Delivery Address is unsafe for any reason. In such a case, you will not be entitled to a refund for the Order that was attempted to be delivered.
- We may cancel your Order before delivery in whole or in part. We may do this even if we have received payment from you or sent you a tax invoice.
- If we cancel the Subscription Products in your Order and that Order also contains Top Up Products then those Top Up Products will also be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel any Top Up Products in an Order and not cancel the Subscription Products in that Order.
- The circumstances in which we may cancel your Order, acting reasonably, include if:
a. there was any error in the description of any of the Goods in your Order or the price advertised by us;
b. we suspect fraudulent activity has or may have occurred in relation to an Order;
c. your Order is in breach of these Terms and Conditions or is contrary to any law; and
d. your Order is unable to be fulfilled due to unavailability of the products you have ordered from the fulfilment location. - If your Order is cancelled, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible, via one or more of your contact details supplied, to advise you of the cancellation.
- You may cancel an Order if you do so before the Order Cut-Off Time for that Order.
5. PRICE OF GOODS
- The price of Goods in your Order will be the price specified on the Website at the time you place your Order. If you amend your Order, the price of Goods will be the price specified on the Website at the time you amend your Order.
- QuiteLike reserves the right to amend any pricing errors displayed due to human error, computer malfunction or other reason and may exercise its right to cancel an affected Order at any point prior to delivery of that Order.
- If you require a tax invoice, please make a request to support@quitelike.com. Tax invoices will be provided within 14 days. We expect to be able to offer you the opportunity to download tax invoices by logging into your QuiteLike Account towards the end of 2024. Once our Website is updated to accommodate this, we will update these Terms and Conditions accordingly.
6. PAYMENTS FOR ORDERS
- For your first Order, you will be charged for that Order upon completion of the sign-up process, where you:
a. select the Goods in your Order; and
b. select the Delivery Day of that Order. - When you place subsequent Orders, you will be charged shortly following the Order Cut-Off Time for that Order.
- At the time you place an Order, you will be required to select your payment method. The payment methods are the ones you have selected in your QuiteLike Account.
- For some payment methods (including debit and credit cards) QuiteLike may pre-authorise the amount payable for your Order and only charge you the full amount at the time we pack your Order. You authorise QuiteLike to do so.
- If QuiteLike is unable to successfully process the pre-authorisation of payment for your Order, your Order may be cancelled.
- If prior attempts to pre-authorise or pay for your Order are unsuccessful, you consent to QuiteLike making further attempts to do so. Any amounts charged to your credit or debit card that exceed the funds or credit limit available may be rejected or may result in you being charged fees or interest by the issuer of the credit or debit card. You agree that QuiteLike is not liable for any such rejection, fees or interest.
- Where you choose to save your payment information on QuiteLike, you consent to QuiteLike storing that payment information and to use that payment information as a payment method for purchases you may make.
7. RISK AND TITLE IN THE GOODS
Risk and title in the Goods passes to you upon delivery at the Delivery Address following online payment for those Goods.
8. CREDITS AND REFUNDS
- You can make a claim for a refund or credit if you believe:
a. that you did not receive the Goods that you were charged; or
b. there is a fault or defect with Goods you have purchased. - If this is the case, please send an email to support@quitelike.com. We will respond and, in order to assess your claim, will specify what further information (if any) we require. After receipt of that information, we will assess your claim and will be happy to offer you a refund or credit in the manner determined by us if we determine this to be appropriate.
- In relation to a request for a refund that we have assessed and agreed to, that refund will be credited to your selected payment method promptly following our assessment and agreement. We have no control over how quickly this payment will be received into your account once we have instructed our bank to effect the refund.
- Credit for the value of any Goods or credits applied for any other reason will only be applied to the next Order you place following the credit being applied to your QuiteLike Account. If the amount of the credit exceeds the price of that next Order, that credit shall be deemed to have been applied in full in respect of that Order and, as such, cannot be applied to any later Order. The Delivery Day for that next Order must be within one calendar year of the credit being applied to your QuiteLike Account; after that calendar year the value of that credit shall be deemed to be zero.
- Without limitation to clause 4, no credits or refunds are available if the Delivery Address you specify for an Order is incorrect.
- Credits applied to your QuiteLike Account are not property and do not have any cash or monetary value. Credits cannot be taken or redeemed as cash or equivalent. Any credits standing to the credit of your QuiteLike Account will be cancelled in full:
a. (if you cancel your subscription), do not have any Unfulfilled Orders at the time you cancel your subscription on the date you cancel your subscription;
b. (if we cancel your subscription) on the date we cancel your subscription; and
c. (if your QuiteLike Account is deleted) on the date your QuiteLike Account is deleted. - Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Regardless of anything in this clause 8, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable Loss. You're also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality.
9. PROMOTIONS
- We may from time to time offer promotions.
- These promotions are personal to the individuals we issue them to and cannot be transferred or sold, and are subject to the terms disclosed at the time of issue.
- Unless otherwise specified in the terms and conditions applicable to a promotion:
a. promotions offered by the way of discount codes are valid for new customers only;
b. each promotion may only be used once per Delivery Address and once per QuiteLike Account;
c. delivery fees are excluded from any promotion; and
d. Top Up Products are excluded from any promotion. - Other terms and conditions and expiry dates of any promotions can be found on the relevant website page you visited, or in the email or on the printed material you received.
- We reserve the right to cancel any or all promotions at any time and to cancel your subscription and/or delete your QuiteLike Account (and prohibit you from signing up for another QuiteLike Account) if we suspect error, fraud or any other abuse of the promotions is occurring.
10. OUT OF STOCKS AND SUBSTITUTION
- QuiteLike does not provide rainchecks on Goods. If Goods in your Order are out of stock, QuiteLike will select a substitute for you. QuiteLike will try to ensure that all Goods in your Order (and any substitutes we select) are supplied.
- If you have requested that an Order contains a Top Up Product and that Top Up Product is out of stock when we pack your Order, we will amend your Order to remove that Top Up Product. In these cases, we will endeavour to issue a full refund for any payments you have made for that Top Up Product within 10 Business Days of the date the relevant Order is delivered.
- Where Goods that you have selected are substituted with other Goods, we cannot ensure that those substitute Goods cater to your specific dietary requirements, including allergies. Please read the labels of each grocery product (and any substitute grocery product provided to you) for dietary and allergy information.
11. PACKAGING AND LABELLING OF GOODS
- QuiteLike aims to provide up-to-date pictures and details of the Goods on the Website. If you have any queries, please contact us.
- QuiteLike recommends that you read labels carefully before placing an Order and consuming Goods. In particular, prior to placing an Order, you should ensure that the Goods in that Order are suitable from a dietary and allergy perspective.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
- You acknowledge that QuiteLike or its Related Bodies Corporate own or are licensed to use all Intellectual Property Rights in QuiteLike, including any images, photographs or text that appears on the Website. You must not make any representation to the contrary and you must not use or copy QuiteLike in any manner inconsistent with the rights of the owner or licensee of such Intellectual Property Rights.
- You acknowledge that any trademarks or logos that appear on the Website are owned by or licensed to QuiteLike or its Related Bodies Corporate, and that you must not do anything to prejudice the rights of the trademark owner or licensee to such trademarks or logos.
13. LIABILITY
- QuiteLike will use reasonable care and skill in providing the Goods.
- While we have taken reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy, availability and completeness of the information contained on the Website, that information is provided in good faith and on an “as is“ and “as available“ basis, and we do not make any representation or warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including the reliability of the information, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement.
- Products displayed on the Website are not an exact sample and are indicative only, and Goods that you receive may vary from those displayed according to seasonal availability.
- Subject to clauses 13(5) and 13(6), we are responsible for Loss suffered by you as a result of:
a. our negligence, fraud or wrongful acts; or
b. a serious breach of these Terms and Conditions by us if that Loss was reasonably foreseeable at the time. - Subject to clause 13(4) and to the extent permitted by law, you release and discharge QuiteLike and its Related Bodies Corporate from all forms of direct, special, indirect or consequential Loss (including loss of profits, loss of data or Loss that may reasonably have been supposed to have been in the contemplation of the parties as at the date of an Order) arising out of or in connection with QuiteLike or these Terms and Conditions (including the installation, downloading, use or performance of any software related to QuiteLike).
- Provided that it's fair and reasonable to do so, any liability by QuiteLike resulting from a breach of warranty (express or implied) will be limited as follows:
a. if the breach relates to the Goods, to the replacement of the Goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or
b. if the breach relates to deliveries, to the re-supply of the delivery or the cost of having the deliveries supplied again. - These limitations don't apply to any condition or warranty implied by legislation that does not permit QuiteLike's liability to be limited.
14. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
- The Website and all Content is operated and owned by QuiteLike.
- You may only use the Website and the Content for personal purposes unless QuiteLike provides express written consent.
- You must not:
a. by any means copy, reproduce, republish, adapt, upload, link, post, frame, translate, transmit or distribute any part of the Website or any Content;
b. do anything that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Website, or interferes or disrupts the Website or any network or website connected to the Website;
c. breach the security of the Website, test or scan the vulnerability of the Website, or make any unauthorised modifications to the Website;
d. interfere with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the Website;
e. post, or transmit to the Website any abusive, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate material;
f. use any robot, spider, scraping device, deep link, or any other automatic tool or algorithm, or any manual process that performs the same function, to copy or use any Content or any part of the Content, or to reproduce or separately store or use such Content;
g. use the Website or any Content in any way that is unlawful, illegal or breaches the rights of QuiteLike or any third party; or
h. use the Website in any way that otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions. - In addition to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Website and various parts of the Website are subject to other terms and conditions. You should review these other terms and conditions carefully and not use the Website if you do not agree to these other terms and conditions.
- The Website contains links to other web sites controlled by third parties (Third Party Websites). QuiteLike is not responsible for any content on Third Party Websites nor does it endorse or approve such websites. If you choose to visit these Third Party Websites you do so at your own risk and should make your own enquiries before relying on any content contained on such Third Party Websites.
- QuiteLike makes no representations about the quality or accuracy of material available on Third Party Websites, or that such material does not infringe the intellectual property rights of a third party.
- All Content is owned, controlled by, or licensed to QuiteLike. Except for viewing the Content for your own personal non-commercial use, QuiteLike does not grant you any rights to use the Website or Content for any other purpose unless it expressly consents in writing.
- QuiteLike does not warrant or guarantee:
a. the accuracy or completeness of any information available on the Website;
b. that access to the Website will be uninterrupted or error free;
c. that any defects will be corrected immediately; or
d. that the Website will be free from viruses or other contamination. - Except where prohibited by law, QuiteLike will not be liable to you for any Loss that you may suffer due to use of the Website, including use of any information on it, except to the extent that this arises as a result of QuiteLike’s fraud, negligence or wrongful act or omission. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- You may stop using the Website at any time for any reason.
- QuiteLike reserves the right in its absolute discretion, acting reasonably, to suspend or terminate at any time the access to the Website of any user without notice, where it is in our legitimate interests to do so, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. The suspension or termination shall not affect either party’s rights or liabilities.
- QuiteLike may disclose any information we may have about a user in relation to an investigation or allegation that your use of the Website is in breach of these Terms, or is in breach of a law or other regulation. QuiteLike reserves its right to identify or bring legal action against any person who is breaching these Terms, including by obtaining injunctive relief.
15. USERNAME AND PASSWORD
You are responsible for the safekeeping of your username and password, and you're liable if your QuiteLike Account is misused by an unauthorised person.
16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Each time you place an Order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions that apply may change between Orders and you should review the terms at the time of placing an Order.
17. PRIVACY
For details on QuiteLike's commitment to your privacy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
18. NOTICES
- QuiteLike may give notice to you by email, conventional mail or notice on our Website. You may give notices to QuiteLike by email to support@quitelike.com.
- You need to tell us if you want to make any changes to your details or if you want to update or customise your communications preferences.
- You can make changes to your details by logging into your QuiteLike Account.
- You can opt out, update or customise your communications preferences by:
a. clicking the unsubscribe link contained in promotional emails;
b. replying STOP to SMS messages; or
c. contacting our customer care team by sending an email to support@quitelike.com or using the “Contact Us” page or chat function on the Website,
provided that, if you have made an Order, you are deemed to consent to receive communications from us in relation to the delivery of that Order.
- Subject to clause 18(4), if you select not to receive any communications from us at all, you will not be notified by us. However, you will still be able to log in to your QuiteLike Account and use the Chat function.
- QuiteLike is not responsible if you don’t notify us of any changes to your details or any changes you make to your communications preferences.
19. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, void, invalid or unenforceable for any reason, all other provisions which are self-sustaining and capable of separate enforcement will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, be and continue to be valid and enforceable.
20. GOVERNING LAW
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria.
- Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts with jurisdiction there, and waives any right to object to the venue on any ground.
21. QUITELIKE COOK'S PERKS (OUR LOYALTY PROGRAM)

22. FLYBUYS
- You can collect a minimum 1 Flybuys point per $1 you spend online with QuiteLike.
- To collect points, enter your Flybuys number online at the time of purchase or in your QuiteLike Account profile.
- Only one Flybuys account can be linked to each QuiteLike profile.
- Points are unable to be awarded retrospectively, so please ensure you provide your Flybuys number before completing your purchase.
- Points are awarded after savings, discounts, and vouchers, and are calculated based on the value of your Order at the time it is processed with QuiteLike.
- Any changes after you’ve placed your Order will not change the amount of points you’ll receive. However, if your transaction is cancelled, or you are subsequently issued a refund, any issued points may be deducted from your Flybuys account.
